Our experience is they do not stay that color. As the plant matures and grows larger the spines become more cream colored (see picture). We currently have 6 of this size in stock.

Cactus Terms: Variegated: having marks, streaks or patches of different color(s). Normal green portions of the plant are replaced because of a lack of chlorophyll.
